Field courses are a great way to add experiential international learning opportunities to your university education. These courses give you a chance to travel and explore the places and topics you’re studying while earning credit. For International Education Week (#IEW2015), with the help of Wilfrid Laurier University, we would like to feature this special way to learn and travel abroad.

Upcoming offerings from Laurier will include topics and destinations for students of history, culture, development, international relations and urban planning. Here is a listing of some of Laurier’s exciting upcoming field courses:
Puerto Rico – Students will gain hands-on experience in the Caribbean, learning about the history of Puerto Rico and the legacy of piracy and slavery.
Kampala, Uganda – Students will explore the dimensions and drivers of urban food security in Africa.
